The Diner Finder is the Internet’s best source of real diner information.Update — 4:46PM, May 7: This report contains several updates and corrections since its first posting earlier this moring. Since then, I spoke to Barbara at length about her situation and had several details filled in.
Barbara Lind poses in the Tin Man Diner with Roadside Girl in June, 2009.
I spoke with Barbara Lind last week, and she informed me then of her impending eviction from her diner, the Tin Man in North Falmouth, Massachusetts. Once again, I hadn’t heard from Barbara for an extended period of time and once again the phone numbers I had for her failed to work. After sending a letter to the diner, she finally called me after going to Wal-Mart and buying a pay-as-you-go phone.
