Bobby’s Girl meets Common Man

New Hampton, New Hampshire — The Common Man has hooked up with Bobby’s Girl.
Bobby’s Girl Diner, a pristine Worcester lunch car — in fact the last built by the company — closed up last year after a run of more than four years under the management of Ron Elliard. Up for sale since then, an auction sale has put it under the Common Man umbrella and owner Alex Ray, owner of the New Hampshire based Common Man restaurant chain.
The Common Man restaurant chain already owns the Tilt’n Diner in Tilton, New Hampshire and the Airport Diner — a site-built structure — near the Manchester airport.
Bobby’s Girl first opened at this Route 104 location back in the mid-1990s after its purchase by Bob and Gloria Merrill and transport up from Long Island, where it was part of failed effort by Alexis Stewart to open it in Bridgehampton.
