Thank you for this video that really made me happy.

We stopped and ate at Owl during our last trip to New England last summer.
This remains one of the best memories of our 2 trips to the USA.
We met Tom who was very glad that the French come to his dinner and interested
He was very proud to show me his new vestibule, a waitress took us a photo of Tom and me, in front of the sign of the Diner.
We had a long discussion on Diners and he offered me gifts before leaving.

This is truly a wonderful memory. Kindness, passion, happiness.

Christian, the French

just to clarify for all your readers, it would have been more correct to say the Shanahan's have owned the diner going on 30 years. When I first went to the Owl in the early 1980's, it was owned by someone else. The Shanahan's were running the Peerless Diner on Chelmsford Street in Lowell at that time. They bought the Owl after 1982 is my guess. Certainly by the mid-1980's.
