Fells Point Diner: The location 30 years later

As part of the research for my book, I traveled down to the Canton section of Baltimore along its inner harbor in search of the spot where Barry Levinson filmed the movie “Diner” 30 years ago. It’s changed a great deal since then, but sadly, the city allowed developers to build waterfront condos in such a way as to completely block the view of the harbor. In the movie, that view provides a dramatic backdrop, especially in the wee morning hours when the guys file out of the diner.
