Sunrise Diner still for sale

Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania -- Vermont won't see the Sunrise anytime soon. The Montpelier Times Argus may have jumped the gun with their report from a couple of weeks ago about the impending sale of the Sunrise Diner to a Vermont-based developer. According to the report, the developer hoped to place the diner on a vacant lot in the heart of the state's capital. According to the diner's owner, Noel Behan, no such deal is in the works. Behan bought the Sunrise in July of last year intending to find it a new home so he can expand his adjacent tavern business. He tells Roadside he's received many inquiries from all over the country, but so far, no one's cut any checks yet. He wants to see the diner preserved, but he says, "I can only hold onto it for probably another two months." DinerForSale.com has this diner listed. Another site upgrade

Visitors will notice some subtle changes to the site since Monday night. Because the upgrade and redesign that I implemented last November didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped, I opted to start from scratch instead. Two months later, the site looks pretty solid so far, and had the added bonus of a new, easier-to-use system for our Riding Shotgun bloggers.

We hope that you can now use the site without any further technical issues. If you do, by all means, write me immediately and let This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
