The Diner Finder is the Internet's best source of real diner information.
Thanks to a recent story published in the Washington DC City Paper and in honor of the soon-to-be-open Capital City Diner, we've decided to put the entire issue that we devoted to Avoca, New York in PDF format and make it available for download.
The main story covers the town's roadside attraction grand slam of a diner, caboose motel, drive-in movie theater, and scenic train raid that once called Avoca (and nearby Bath) their home. Today, only the motel remains.
Some of the graphics in this file -- mostly in the advertisements -- did not fully survive the transfer. If you'd like to see more of this, let us know, and we'll do our best to get more online.
